Sprinter gearbox and diff oils	Mon, 22 September 2003 23:51

I know this topic has been up before but ive been searching for an half an hour but still cant find anything. How much oil in a aussie spec t50 gearbox? How much oil in a Aussie spec diff? What is the best oil to use for each? any reccommendations? Thanks guys! [Report message to a moderator]

You'll need 2.2ltrs for the gearbox, and about 1.3ltrs for the diff. Anything from Shell, Caltex, BP should do the job. Just remember that diff oil isnt the same as gearbox oil, use the right stuff for the right application. Hope it helps. [Report message to a moderator]

Thanks buddie.. Now what brand and grade of oil? Redline,royal purple,mobil,castrol,pennzoil 75W-90 ???? Synthetic or non - synthetic ???? there is so much outthere... What do you guys use? [Report message to a moderator]

found it.. Is this the ones? Penrite 10 TENTHS COMP. DIFF OIL Extra strength gear oil to cope with the toughest conditions including high performance dragsters. Contains additives suitable for limited slip/spin resistant units.
