Holy shit, thats half the price i was quoted from Crowcam about 6mths ago.
It was $790 for 2 cams at whatever size i wanted.
Do wades have set sizes available for that price or is it tell them what size you need and they grind them up for you.

Guys, just remember to ask much for all the extra when using 285 cams.

i was gona say.... $390 the pair for billets would be bullshit.. even $440 a PAIR seems a dubious price for a PAIR of BILLET ground cams, maybe for stellite reground but not billet.... Camtech in sydney are very good and there prices are very fair for the billets they use which they import as there is no one in aus making 4AGE billets anymore ( as of 18 months ago) and they are roughly $700 a pair. Can highly reccomend them.

A mate bought a set from Wade about 2 months ago and paid $382 but he is in the auto trade so he must of got them at trade price , Anyhow even at $440 a set for new billets is a lot better than $700 - $800 from other places .

I've been intending to buy some Wade 4AG cams for a while, just they do seem to be pretty bad at returning my calls... However, I've heard nothing but good things said by others about Wade.

Yep, but here's the content of an e-mail Wade sent me less than 12 hours after I quieried them...
"Yes, l can confirm that we charge $440.00 inc. GST to supply & grind a pair of 4AGE cams.
One important point. At times, we have a problem with supply as far as the billet cams are
concerned. We usually try to keep 2 or 3 sets on the shelf, ready for grinding. However, they
can all go in a few days, depending on the demand. The supply from the USA is very sloppy.
The American manufacturer regards Australia as an insignificant customer. And in truth, we
probably are. So, please understand that there may be times when we cannot supply. This
is a source of concern to us but there is not a lot that we can do to rectify it.
As far as specific grinds are concerned, l would need to refer you to our technical team. I will
refer your email to them for an additional response.
Cheers
Chris

Sounds good from here.
