the car had a ground up restoration 4 years ago and had rego with the same internals as it does now. it's an early 1972 TA22 celica, 5 speed conversion, 2TG 1600 DOHC 40mm twin, twin throat carbies, cross flow heads and runs great, stock standard the engine came out of the factory with 124HP, the interior has been reappolstered, currently in primer. New tyres. New mastercylinder, mags and a heap of spare parts from chrome strips to headlights to full tail light set ups, all chrome in good condition for age. the last owner had the car for 22 years and i even have the original users manual. very powerful car, wish i had the time, money AND space to fully restore it but being a student in year 12 . . . money and time is too much of an issue. all it needs for rego is a respray, brake bleeding and air filters, the motor and all running gear is intact in the car as is most of the interior, it was about to be resprayed but i have rego for my other car due. the fuel tank is also hidden between the tail lights. will swap for registered RA60 - RA65 or any other car of interest or sell for $3000ono. for any further information, please contact Brad on 0412 335 230

will re negotiate the price if anyone want's it this month but this month only . . . one more thing, the only thing off the car is the bumbers, guards, bonnet, doors, lights and that's it, the windows are all wound down, there looks like more work than what there really is

Went and had a look today. This car is in great condition. no rust, no dents, all it needs is a respray (which i cant afford). but definely a good buy for anyone else out there looking for a good condition ta22.

yup, while i was at school, my dad took it on the road and dropped the clutch and left twin tyre marks on the road . . . a week later i had the rear end jacked up and discovered that it didn't have a LSD but it does have alot of power. sorry about that.

If it helps . . . if anyone knows celica's well, then they'll know that this car is a rare find and worth heaps when finished. it the early 72 model with the fuel filler between the tail lights. VERY RARE and it's also matched up with a 5 speed 2TG. $2000 is almost insane. . . but as it goes, first to pull $2000 gets it. the hard work's been done, just have to re spray it
