2S-C Head Torque Settings Fri, 06 August 2004 03:54 Go to next message
Hey All,

I think its time to tighten the headgasket on my 2S-C. Does anyone know the torque settings and the sequence to do it?

Cheers.

While we're on the subject of 2S-C motors, can anyone tell me if they are an interference style setup, or not? I'd like to know if I can expect bent valves and all the other associated dramas that come from a broken timing belt in this type of motor?

Clint

All Toyota engines with timing belts are non-interference.
