What seats do u have in YOUR TA22 ???

Hey all
im just wondering what seats u guys have in your 22's as in future im definetely changing mine cause as im sure u know the 22 seats look nice and all but they sure as hell like to launch u around the cabin of your car when cornering
So yeah what seats and what did u do to get them in

I actually like my stock white seats, I will get them retrimmed later and get insertes but I am content with them. I know that Stuart has I think Prelude buckets in his, but in my TA23 I will be going fixed buckets and 6 point harnesses to hold me in.

In my RA28 i got prelude seats, and they are pretty good. They feel great and look it too.

yup - i have seats out of a VTiR Honda prelude in mine i believe
no electric adjusties - but drivers seat has full adjustable lumbar support + adjustable kidney support ..
They be awesome - comfy - even if they sit an inch too high

i have Mazda MX5 seats... they are cheap, compact and very tidy seats. they sit a fraction higher than the stock sears, but the look and support of there seats is awesome... pics on my site, link below...

I say get Buckets, sure they can be expensive and suck if you want to go wog style with the seat layed back but they sure are comfy and feel great.

Should get some MA61 seats, really comfortable. Pretty heavy, but comfortable none the less.

depends mani, remember, two lots of holes you need to line up.
1 lot - rails bolting to seats
2nd lot - rails bolting to floor
if they all line up - shweeeeet.
dori's mazda seats kick arse - they are very comfortable.

TA22 is no luxury car, it's a sports car... so why would you want to load it up with bulky seats from a honda prelude. i think those seats are quite nice, but the simple one piece backed MX5 seats really retain the sporty feel of the interior. added to that is they are compact, neat and very comfortable (i prefer them to the seats in my camry for comfort alone, not to mention support!!!!)
but stay on your cruisade for VTEC power, maybe oneday you can have a 4AGE 20V and then really say you have the power of variable valve timing.....
by the way, have you got any pics of your interior with the honda seats???

Ironically enough my honda seats weigh LESS than the stocko ta22 seats - by lifting guage .. they were just a little more foam bulky they weigh hardly anything at all
SAAS seats on the other hand ( which i had ) were heavier units with inferior fabric
AAnd why would i want a 4ag - id be lowering my standasrds further * grin *
probably slot in a 2tgeu next year if i keep the old pig
PS - she gets cammed again next weekend - * whfrowooor ! *
back to close to 100 horsies at the wheels - GOOOD horsies

heh - and BTW my seats came from a VTiR prelude ( prelude type R ? ) so fwooar to the sports factor :)now all i need is my neon undercar lights and the monster GT wing on the back

depending on where u live
there are plenty around
ps: my seats are fully electric as well
pps: when i got my seats that had mx5 seats there and they wanted $450 - $500 for them
