GZE 'sneezing' on cold start Mon, 16 August 2004 04:36 Go to next message
Hi guys,

Only recently when i'm starting my car in the mornings, when i turn the key, it 'choooofs' a big sneeze sound from the engine bay. I've never heard this before (had it for about 3 yrs).......but it is happenin every morning now. Should i be worried?

Also, the supercharger makes strange noises when the car is just sitting there, off. Like a burping sound every once in a while (not too often) it just scares the hell outta me when i work on my car!

Is my car alive?! Laughing Crying or Very Sad

Get your head under the bonnet and have someone else start the car.
Look for vacuum leaks.
My guess is timing as well but maybe you have a hose off somewhere.
