 Changing from KE70 4Speed to 5Speed

Does anyone know if when changing from 4Speed to a 5Speed gearbox on a KE70 1984 1.3L 4k-c, do you need to change any fittings? Do the stud paterns match? Anything else you need to know when making these swap?

Straight swap, just bolt in and drive away.

weren't there differently-splined output shafts on some k gearboxes?
it might pay to check these before buying the gearbox.

I did the swap about two months ago, No problems at all,Just unbolt and bolt the new one in.i just had to change the plug for the reverse light(about 30secs of solidering). it took me about 3hrs and that was by myself taking it slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it will be an easy fit as long as its from another ke70
