Beer is considered to be like softdrink in Russia. I saw a doco on it once and they were wottied because they were gonna end up stuffing their livers etc cos they were drinking so much of it.

vodka is considered as milk, drink it but not as often as soft drinks Normally have it instead of wine and all that at dinner
