This is definetly one of best MZ20's out there, it was a ball of fun to ride in, who locked the LSD? pitty after all the work that was put into it.

Hmm, Well it wasn't me thats for sure. You get used to locked diffs, but I can just imagine those bushes - ouch -. It sure seems locked to me anyway, when you back off and turn it chatters. But any will need to get some cash together for a JZA70 torsen LSD, or maybe even a mechanical if I get enough.

I sold the supra because I wanted something different, and the things I wanted to do to that I just didn't really have the money for. There are no MZ20's where I live so it is a good choice. Something to combat the copious amounts of sil's and 180's anyway. I do miss my JZA70 though, they are sweet cars.

I wasn't the one that did the manual conversion, I bought the car "as is". I'd say you could pick all the parts up for around 1k, and do the work yourself would be best. I don't think I'll be letting it go soon anyway. Very Happy

Looks nice BTW! Is the bonnet raised at the back permanently or just in that pic?

In the end I paid $13,000 for it. The bonnet is raised at the moment but will be putting it back down to get it registered and to see what way looks better. Smile

Also just dynoed the car today, it put out just under 260RWHP. It looks like it needs a good tune when it comes on full boost, it richens right up. Oh well looks like its time for a trip to Hyperdrive. Smile Will put up some dyno sheets so for you all to see. Cool

MY OLD CAR!!!!!!
why is the bonnet all raised at the back.
damn that conversion cost me a packet. bitch that the dude that bought it off me made a sweet profit. but hope ur happy with it.
actually ur exhaust is 3.5 inch stainless, it was well pricey.
those lexus rims alone cost 1250 Sad and were damn hard to find)
good to see it with the guard painted, that was one stupid kangaroo.

kinda cool that it made it all the way to W.A too.
i miss it lots. ps, ther is supposed to be a reinforcement along the bottom of the bar to make it flat not sroopy, but i was too lazy to put it back. could prolly source one of a halfcut. and factory spotlights which were there hide the hole in the front bumper where the pipe sticks through, they were with the car.

I guess the guy that had the car after you did it, it just came like it. Yeah I can see where the spotties used to be. Anyway here are the dyno sheets of it. It really needs a good tune, What sort of ECU was put in it JAZE? Also the little square box in the glovebox with the dial on it, what is that? Is it to do with timing or like a fuel cut defender, I didn't want to play around with it until I know what it is.

Well, my bad luck has struck again after finding out that the car has a locked diff, I was driving home from work and have now blown the diff by shearing some teeth from the crown wheel and etc.

I have now got one coming from S.A. thanks to MR 1GGTE. So now I will be able to drive my baby again. The worst part is I was just everyday driving, it wasn't even under any pressure, and just let go with a huge bang. Lucky I could drive it home though.

Track day coming up soon aswell, will have to take her and get some pics working for ya's. Wink Smile

Hmm, the LSD looks as though it needs to be shimmed up or tightened up, it is a little sloppy and will pull a 1 legger every now and then. Anyone know what sort of cost is invloved to do this?

I'm not too sure how wide they are, but I'll have a look when I go out there next. Hey danish do you remember someone a while ago asking to buy your car? Well that was me. Smile

Ok well, it has been a while since an update. This week an EMS Stinger computer will be going into the car and will be getting tuned. The car will be made to run at 15psi and I'm hoping to make 300RWHP with this setup. Then after that The JZA70 diff will be getting shimmed up nice and tight.

Anyway I have a few more pictures too.

Well I recently had my first go at autocross and it is an absolute ball. My times for the day were
1:53
1:47
1:41
1:37
Most of the field was sitting round the 1:35 mark, some were alot slower and some were in the 1:29 range.
Anyway here is a pic of it in action...
