This saturday there is a track day at baskerville.

This is what you need:
helmet
fire extinguisher
long sleave clothing
bring about $100 if you are not a current member, otherwise about $55.

Costs: Track fee is $55 and you will also have to sign upto a CAMS approved club. This can be done at the track it costs $50 and gives you a years membership, monthly newsletter and information on any club events.

What you need: Long sleeves and pants (jeans and a jumper will do) as long as it covers your skin. Fire extinguisher, Try and have it mounted on a metal bracket inside your car. I am not sure if he will check it though. And a helmet. Basically this is all you need for private practice. But you can ring Dave the care taker on 62492071 to find out any other information.

I was there at Baskerville on Saturday with 3 different cars. This is the best value type of practice, because its not actualy an event. You can practice at Baskerville almost any day if no one has hired it. It just so happens that I go to work during the week so Saturdays suit me better.

If you go to an event like this Street Shoot out at Symmons, you won't be able to do as many laps, and your time on the track won't be as flexible. When its private practice (no event organised) you can just do what ever you want, within reason.

open to anyone with a roadworthy car, who hasn't got a current C.A.M.S licence or who have not had a one day C.A.M.S licence in the past year.

So thats saying I won't be able to enter seeing as I have my 2S licence?

Well that sucks the big one.
