This is from the thread of the same name in the Events section.

Bring me back one of these

That car is beautiful. I can just see a mid '70's japanese crime lord driving around in that.

New Zealand.

In fact, you can buy a shitter variant from NZ for a paltry $500 - 1000. Unfortunately by the time you ship the thing out and pay for the paperwork, it's 4K. Crying or Very Sad

50 series with 1UZ.

So no more excuses Rod.

You might be asking, "where are all these fucking pics coming from?" Well, I have begun a cultural exchange with a few fellow Japanese Crowners with pics of our Crowns and they have started sending pics of theirs and stuff they are seeing at car shows. So Rod we need our own Crown Picnic (add in some Cressidas and Corona Mk2s so we actually have some cars). Sydney is nice and central.

You'll be pleased to know that a 7MGE or 1UZ conversion is an "extreme conversion". Imagine what they would think if they saw Steve Shipway's sports sedan and engine bay (if anyone has a pic of the engine bay then I would love to send it to them)!

Have you sent them pics of Sean's engine bay?

Now that is an extreme Crown conversion.

Having our own Crown picnic in November to correspond with the Japanese one would be really cool. A good excuse for me to get a crown as well.

What model is that one ?

It looks like the rims are a similar pattern to Nissan 240K ones (steelies) that are widened.

Yakuza plates would look cool !!!

Anthony,

That is indeed an MS63 Wagon. Give me time and I'd like to think mine will end up of a similar quality. Not this decade tho Wink

I'm aiming for a look very similar to this but with white walls and old school rims.

bbaacchhyy that is an MS-51, and much to my better half's chagrin I must have one.

It is dead sexy. None were sold in Australia though worst luck.

i have wood. Embarassed

we could always co-incide a "crown picnic" with ToyotaFest....

although it would be cool to have our own little day down at a beach somewhere with heaps of crowns, cressis, mark 2s, 'ronas etc......

Just wait till i have my new baby Very Happy that black ms63 wagon has no dish compared to what i've got coming.

You guys are starting to see where i'm getting my influences from!!!

That MS5X 1UZFE is mind blowing!!!!!!!!

I saw one lowered over a MS5x chassis and it wasn't going to fit I would love to know how the funk they got that to fit!!!

Dave can you find out how much chassis rail modification there was to fit that wonderful motor in the crown.

That was one of the reasons I bought mine was to 1uz it.

MS51's are tuff that black espically

MS63 those ones don't look as ugly but there so ugly there hot.

Ican't wait for about two years or so when my car is finished rod's is finshed, andrij's as well josh will have one and Dave's and Karl's that would be one sweet pic.

They're almost certainly members of the Finnish Crown and Corona Club.

The taillights are 50 series second model taillights.
