Hi,

Here's some pics of a 30yo TA22 and it still looks immaculate.

It's the original Toyota colour - Carnival Red (code is 335)

Hi,

I'm not sure if it's Scando. But I do admire how nice he's kept his car. He also has a 1976 TA28 ST that also looks wonderful considering it's now 29yo.

This one is painted in original Toyota Pacific Blue Metallic (paint code 802).

Hi,

It could also be an RA25/TA27 GT/ST grille!

Hi,

I dunno what it's worth. I guess it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I'm not sure if it will fit onto an xA28, but if it's marked TA27 then it will certainly fit the TA27 and RA25 Celicas (1973-1975 vintage).

It would probably fit on an TA22 also, but I'm not sure if these models came with that style of ST/GT grille.

I think you need to find someone who owns a TA27 or RA25 and see if they want to buy it - probably for spares should their lovely car ever get a ding in the front and waste the grille.

One went on Yahoo Japan a few months ago for $65USD, without the badge.

The grille is interchangeable b/w xA28 and TA27/RA25/TA22(JDM) but not the garden variety TA22. These grilles are available from US models with ST badge.
