Hey all, i currently own a 88 SV21 5sp 3S-FE CS Camry.

It has Air-con but doesn't have power steering.
I don't usually post on toy mods (hence my low post count Razz) however I'm definitely not a newbie when it comes to cars. Ive done my fair share of engine/tranny swaps *rebuilds* etc etc

The only question i have is that i have never really done anything more then installing lowered springs/shocks/camber strut tops to car suspensions.

But what i was thinking was, I'm not interested in cost.. (unless i have to pull out the engine OR fabricate things)
so would it be a simple job to rip out a power steering rack out of another Camry and just installing it in mine??

also including everything that needs to go with it??

The Camry is in honest to goodness top condition and only thing that i don't like about it is that it isn't power steering.

So anyone got any ideas,thoughts,anything ????? Razz

You'll need the rack, the lines, the cooler, the pump and the bracket.
Make sure the crank pulley is the same as yours.
There may be an idler too.

thats alright then... so would i be looking at just swapping all the power steering items over??

haha basically guys, im just wanting to know is it gonna be a difficult job, or straightfoward??
