MY MX13 MK11 corona....burnout pics!! NEW PROG PICS
|
Sun, 10 July 2005 08:29
|
|
hey all,
we'll her she is....pretty much the same as when in bought it SHEwiththe18rg
except for the 17" HART 3 pieces, and a hectic blue steering wheel,
atm...bog stock 4m 3 spd auto in immaculate condition...except for suffering overheating problems!
plan's,
1jzgte manual conversion from chaser with front sump,
chaser twin piston stopping power
lowered on king spring's with koni's!
bucket seat for driver as the seat falls back!
and install a stereo,
i dont have plans for it to be a show car...just a damn quick streeter!
POWER...last dyno day she pumped out a huge 73.8hp@tw,...not to bad considering these are 108hp at the fly,
so what do u guys think??? shows potential aye!
(previous owner's might upon seeing these pics!)
nice isn't she!!!
we'll there you go! enjoy!
Blake

Looks awsome
I saw this thing at its previous House and liked it then I actually thought about buying it.
Those rims look fat as.
I fell in love with mark II's after drivng the Toymods Slut car a 2 door Mark II.
Good luck with the conversion
I can't wait to see it out and about on a cruise.

As the very first owner of this car...well in this forum anyway..I always knew this car was just a little bit of work away from fxxx'in awesome in the looks department...then Tif and her Dad(gotta give the 'old boy' credit) for carrying on what I hardly started when I got the car from the previous know nothing owner..I see the metal sun visor has gone...do not chuck it out..You will be looking for it "one day" If you want I can sell you(at my cost $90) a full set of lowered coils(King I think) I got them from an MX23 and you ALSO might be interested in buyimg some MX23 Grille sections to complete the f'ugly/Lovely old school front..price...well we'll see..PM me...I do deliver..
As for the rubber burning...let us all lower our heads and say a silent thank you Lord for the 'F' Series diff and the tractor like low gear in that auto box..I told Tif the power was there when she was not happy about 4 banger Celicas giving her cheek at the lights..
PS My wife and daughter have just seen the pics and reminded me (again -as if I needed to be told!!!) how much they liked the car...Just so cool

if i cant legally engineer the 7mgte it looks like i will be going for the 1jzgte!!!

she weighs in at 1190kgs, tubby little bitch,
with that in mind the 7mgte should JUST be legal, nsw rules turbo engine conversion is 2.5 times the weight in cc's, so maximum of 2975cc's
still waiting to here from engineer!

hey guys, spoike to another engineer as the other has not returned any phone calls,
went into BD4's at gladesville, they recomended JOHN VARETIMIDIS,
gave him a call, got back to me quickly with answer,
the buggest motori could legaly fit would be a 4ltr TURBO,
so i could even go down the 1uzfe road if i liked,
now with that in mind, i now know that i can choose what i want,
(7mgte, 1jzgte or 2jzgte) as they all are within leagality's,
slow progress atm, working on the 2 be supercharged mini van!!!

Its actually 4.4L Turbo!!! Well thats what I can legally put in the MX23, you should be able to go even bigger since yours weighs a touch more than the coupe...
Im going through the same motions at the moment, I've contacted John and he seems to do the engineers for a reasonable price...
Im going 1JZ all the way... I figure if your gonna do it... fucking do it well...
I was never really a fan of the 4 doors, but yours is most definately an exception, looks really hot, and I hope to see it soon running a N2O'ed 7MGTE...
Cheers, Keal
