Ooooo, this discussion should be very interesting.

How very technical...

Rex believes the 20Valve is a phenominal drag engine. It produces a huge amount of torque, far more than any but the wildest of CA18DET's with NOS n Shit..

Add the fact that it weighs a fair bit more so it puts alot more weight on the tyres to generate friction for launching.

In the end it will all come down to who ever has their seat in the most reclined position.

Before midday launch 4678rpm, after midday launch at 5867rpm, the moon can also wreak havoc when trying to launch the 20v so be careful.......

i'd put my money on the pulsar for the drag, unless it had a crap driver. The ca18det has much more torque than the 20 valve. If it was a late model 4agze in the rolla, the rolla would have a lot more going 4 it.

I think we can assume the crap driver is pedalling the 20v in this case, if you need to ask on a forum what rpm to launch your car at then you obviously have issues. A minute or two behind the wheel of a car and a few practise launches should find you the best rpm to launch at on a given road surface Rolling Eyes
