Why is my 3VZ idling fast on start up ? Do they have some sort of cold start injector working during warm up ? Once the temp gauge moves, the idle cuts down to normal.

that would help wouldn't it Razz

when starting from dead cold, it will idle at around 1500-2000, once warmed up it drops to 750.

normal Smile

but make sure your warm idle is around 800rpm, if its not, you might have a problem with ya engine coolant temp sensor.

the cold start injector is on the left side of the intake plenum, theres a banjo bolt with a fuel line running to the front injector rail, and a solenoid running off down near the belt cover.
