My sister's 89 Camry has the dreaded toyota-starter-motor problem Rolling Eyes

What can I do to fix it? I have a relay on my old 86 Corona to fix it, and it worked, are there any other fixes?

Replace the contacts in the solenoid or just get a reco starter.

I did that in mine and it didn't work. Brand new starter and worked for a while then nothing.
