AE86 4AGE firing order and injectors?? Thu, 29 September 2005 05:33 Go to next message
Hey guys
Does anyone know the firing order of a JDM AE86?
And if all 4 of the injectors are firing together?

Thanks

1,3,4,2 like most 4 cylinders. IIRC, they batch fire the injectors in pairs up until a certain rev range, then fire all at once from then up.

thanks for that Ben
You might be able to help me out here.

I have just put the small port 4AGE in the sprinter.
And I am having a problem.
When I start the car... it will start either fine.
Or like its running on 3 cylinger.
I am just wondering if the car is having too much fuel when it starts.
Cos when I look at the wiring diagram. It shows that it the 4 injectors are firing at the same time...
Therefore I am not sure if thats the problem.

they are babtch fired, two "squirt" at the same time.

sounds like you have a dead injecttor/bad wiring connection, when i first got my engine running one of the injector plugs was rooted, you could move it around and it would work or not work.

i replaced it with a plug from my spare loom, and it has worked perfectly ever scince.

i should have a few plugs and injectors lying around
