4agze using oil Wed, 02 November 2005 09:42 Go to next message
today i cahnged the oil filter and oil in my recently rebuilt 4agze 3500ks old. only about 2ltrs of oil came out, including what was in the filter, even after sitting there for ages, draining. It took a bit over 3.5ltrs 2 fill with oil. Is this oil usage normal? it doesnt blow any smoke or anything liek that and it doesnt leak oil so where the fuk has all my oil gone?

Help aprreciated, michael

short awnser..yes..all 4AGE's blow oil through the breather pipe into the inlet manifold, or in the GZE case the air intake that sits on the throttle body..if you were to have a look at your throttle body i bet you would find it very well lubricated! i suggest plumbing a catch can between the 2..
