look back thru all the old posts. Lost of info has already been written. Just read lost of websites, and get Zoom magazine.

If you have all the 18RGE parts, it just bolts on. But you need a electric fuel pump.

Easy as, I've just converted put a 2TGEU in my KE35, and previously had a 2TG with carbs in there.

It's had a couple of hiccups, but otherwise has been sweet.
Easy to do now though.
Oh, did i mention i just fired up the motor, hadn't been started in a year...... smooth as, no pops, crackles, shits, farts.......
And that's without the Cold Start injector!!!

There's a wiring diagram and ecu pinouts on
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/classic-celica

I suggest you get all the EFI gear before you start, including Loom.
A 30A relay, plenty of connectors of both female lugs, bullets, and solder & soldering iron.

Get someone to build you a 1lt surge tank and buy an external HPHV fuel pump from the wreckers.

Then you're in business. Could be wired up in a day.

EFI would be nicer over webbers or any carbs any day.

Go the EFI, for a street car it's much better than Webers. I converted my 18R-GU to EFI a few years ago, it was piss-easy and made the car much nicer to drive. It starts easily in cold weather, uses way less fuel, and actually has power below 4000rpm!

hey ben, its rob here, i've just got my car back on the road with a new engine. I EFI-ed my 2TG a couple of months ago, easy as, it should be the same as an 18rg (just a bit less cc's). i just got my celica going the day after Adrain had that cruise, so you just missed out on seeing it, but i'll definately take it out for any cruises comming up, i could show you how smooth it is then if ya want.
