car amp problem

hi having a problem with my 1000W boss amp.
recently the 12V power cable came out of my amp and earthed out on the amp, (main fuse blew after that) after replacing the fuse the amp doesnt seam to want to power up.
the amp is getting power as the fan cooling system starts up. just the acuatll amp wont come on with the head deck. is it possible the 12v cable has shorted out the "remote" wire?
any ideas??
