NOTE: The interior decoration is not the work of either Toobs or The Witzl.... it is the sole inspiration of the previous owner
Just for fun hey
Car: 1984 AE71 Corolla Sedan
Colour: originally metallic brown, now spray can matt black (crap job too!)
Wheels: Stock 13" cheese cutters with 175/70 R13 tyres. 13x7" 215/60 R13s for drag.... racing
Motor: 4A-GE 100kW (from AE92 SX/GTi rolla)
Mods: KMac Lowered springs, Kmac rear shocks, Cut'n'shut intake manifold, Bosch HP fuel pump, custom "tightarse" surge tank, Lift pump, RA60 front seats (low as bro! ), 6.7" T series diff [TE72], T series T50 box [TE72], electronic Oil pressure guage, 4.1:1 diff centre, pimpin brown interior
Plans: i dunno. Petrol?
Oh, and big up the kiwi who has VERY generously "lent" me a fair few bits and pieces and priceless advice along the way...... and everyone else who helped.[/color]
Here's what she is pretty much like now:
This is how she was when we first got her:
The conversion begins:
How to convert the water outlets....
T series Diff
New look pimp interior... CHOCOLATE BROWN!

Yeah we have tried our best to maintain the "shabby" look, and think we have succeeded well.
Although the car may be upgraded with a newer "matter" matt black spray can job, which will include a little more rust cutting, a bit more prep work and a couple of panel replacements for the excessively dinged panels.
As for performance, i have found the first drawback.... axle tramp. I have SEVERE axle tramp on any decent lauch.
But i spose thats what you get with 175/70 R13's and a power to weight ratio such as this.

Funny I didn't see any axel tramp problems last night, A few traction Issues, No wait, Alot of traction issues
Will the 28's rims fit on or is there a different offset?
I've got a set of old rims for the Celica that you're welcome to if you want somthing wider.

axel tramp is when your wheels jump up and down and shudder your entire car cos they cant lay traction and just bounce back up instead. Its annoying and bad.
Ill probably whack on the celica rims for the hell of it soon.

Then i passed out. Then i threw up. Then i woke up 10 hours later with a very large headache and a wish i had never done it.
DAMN YOU $1.00 tequila's!

Just got the number plates and whacked em on... PMP-80Y\
I'll whack some pics up later once I rediscover where I left my camera.
Also just had a problem with Jaycars High Quarity 5AG fuses which Witzo decided to use instead of fusible links... two of the bastards weren't put together properly and rattled apart and cut the connection for the ignition main and the accessories... obviously didn't have a spare fuse at hand so I had to make the connection using a purpose built 400A rated bolt
The fuse has now been fixed with some high quarity soldering by myself and with some special glass removal modifications (to make the current flow faster)
Note to Karl: Stop using dodgy Jaycar shit in critical sections of the Corolla (e.g. fusible links)
Next addon is going to be a quarity immobiliser and central locking... this is going to be a pain in the arse due to Witzls obsession with electrical tape which he has coupled with a new found love of loom tube.
PS If anybody either has in their possession or wouldn't mind accidentally leaving a shopping trolley (or just its handle) around at my joint I will get the shopping trolley handle spoiler installed for the next meeting (and I'll make Karl drive to the Toyota Nationals with it installed!)
PPS anybody who can make custom vinyl stickers (for the Hairdresser GT-Four) please PM me.

You haven't seen the half of it karl... that rust near the firewall is even better... stage 2 weight reduction kit by O2 oxidisation specialists!
The shopping trolley spoiler is temporary at the moment but could be made semi permanent quite easily.
(/me looks for self tapers)
I was going to put the stereo, central locking and immobiliser in it until i got to your leccy tape nightmare and thougt F%^& that!
PS did you leave your metrench set at our joint somewheres? If so where?!
PPS the custom spoiler is available from Big W!
