...think of those in Malaysia which, due to a protectionist car market with sky high import taxes, have to pay between $75,000 and $90,000 for a new camry.

"UMW Toyota Motor will officially launch the new Toyota Camry in early July 2002 but have begun taking orders starting last June 3. Though prices are still pending the relevant government approval, it is expected to be RM154,000 for the Camry 2.0E while the flagship 2.4V is around RM183,000."
