my current clutch is on the way out, so I'm looking for a new one.
now, the engine has only been in the car about 6 months or so, and although it has been a fairly hard 6 months it's obvious the clutch wasn't made for 1jz power.

the way I figure it, I have 3 options:
1. get a replacement kevlar coated plate. nice and cheap, but also likely to fail again reasonably soon.
2. get a *heavy* ceramic clutch put in (maybe not quite a 1-ton clutch, but in that area). This is what I'm looking at at the moment, as I've heard the clacks a 6 button clutch makes. but just how heavy does a clutch have to be to deal with ~400bhp (which is where I hope to be pretty soon)
3. get a 6-button clutch. I don't know much about these, except they're noisy when they're not all the way in!
I've also got my doubts about the strength.. I mean, most of the power is only going through those 6 buttons, so isn't there a decent chance of them breaking? (although I assume the manufacturers thought of this and have done something about it)
