Vibration through steering wheel Wed, 16 April 2003 21:55 Go to previous message
Okay I'm having a few problems over 60-70 k's, nearing 80 really, where I get a lot of shudder and vibration through the steering wheel, the car behaves alright.. but it's like having dual shock permanently turned on.

On the left control arm, it looks like the rubbers cut down the centre and is in two parts and you can see the metal bit inside.. and it's like it's been hit by something. I tried taping that up to see if it would make any difference and I might be going crazy but it seemed to dull the vibration a little?..

Edit: I've tried a different set of wheels on the front and that made no difference, The brakes look okay although the right seems to not spin freely, could be a problem.

Any advice greatly appreciated of where to start looking, that is, before I can get it into a suspension place.
