G'day,
My girlfriend's Father is selling a MX63 Cressida and a 73 Crown. They are in Hobart, If you want them, you need to come get them. Neither currently reg'd.
Descriptions:
Cressida- Light blue color, paint is tidy, interior very good for age, standard dark blue velour trim, power windows, air con, electric mirrors, all usual cressida stuff, as far as I know it all works (battery currently flat). Needs a right hand mirror. Can't remember it having any rust.
Stock cressida Alloys, tyres are ok. All suspension etc in good condition. Mechanically very good, 5ME blows no smoke, idles nicely drives very well, auto is in good condition. Has been sitting for some time, needs a brake booster I think. Apart from mirror and brake booster, there would be bugger all for roadworthy.
Cheap, comfy car. Drove very well. Looking for about $1800
Could fit a 7MGTE or 1ggte for a very comfy sleeper.....
Crown:
Beige/baby poo brown exterior with Vinyl roof, tan vinyl interior. Near new engine and trans. Has no battery, but did run very well when last driven, again, the 4M is nearly new. Body is quite good for age, very little rust present, structurally fine. Car is complete and original down to 4 original hubcaps, interior is actually in quite good condition, though has been parked outside for a fair while. All chrome, interior trim etc is there, mostly in GC. Very rare vehicle today. Own a japanese classic
Would be a VERY easy restorer into a neat cruiser, or could be roadworthied with a little work and driven basically as is.
Looking for offers around $800. Or, as above, fit a 7MGTE for total sleeper cred...
Email me atmflood@utas.edu.au for more info
Remember, neither car is currently regoed or Roadworthied, and they are in Hobart.
cheers,
floody
