Although I was told by people on these forums that a lightened flywheel would OK on a GZE, now that I've blown $700 and tried it I think it is causing me a whole heap of issues. When you put your foot down and the charger engages it puts a load on the engine right? Bigger pulley, more load!! Well with no inertia from the flywheel at low RPM the thing labours like you are going around a corner in fourth gear. This is only speculation at the moment and I'm after peoples opinion on this subject. How does a gze with normal RWD flywheel go? This is still lighter than the original GZE one is it not? Any help would be good.
