my car has just begun to blow smoke upon start up, and after extended periods of idling (traffic lights etc). when i accel it'll blow smoke for a few seconds then stop until i idle again.
i'm presuming that this is valve stem seals. there were supposed to be done after i bought the motor (45k kms ago) but who knows with import yards and their mechanics?
can i replace the seals without taking the head off? or does it have to come off?
what costs am i looking at? (ball park figure is fine)
