i brought a 18rg engine complete with extractors, twin solex carbies from the wreckers on the weekend for $400.
i would like to get some information about rebuilding the engine/what mods can i do to the motor?
and does anyone know a place that does cheap rebuilds?
how much does it usually cost to rebuild a 18rg.
Are the bottom ends on the 18rg the same as the 18rc?
ps. does anybody know how to tune the carbies correctly coz i just can not get them running right.
i live in perth western australia so want somebody to rebuild it over in perth. but can anybody tell me now how much i will be looking at for a complete rebuild if i take the engine apart and put it back together.
this will be my first car/engine i will be taking apart, is it very hard to put a motor back together, i do know it is not be easy but its a start on my own car so would just like any info about it?
