Hey guys, any info/pics on the web on the New 2 Door rolla?? How much etc?? I know they got the Celica engine, and 141kw, but thats it!

Yes,
2 Door corollas are awesome cars..
I CANNOT believe they're bringing out a 141KW corolla!!
I have a Celica and this corolla has the same power. CRAZY.
Looks like the new corollas are steppin up.... 
....
I agree with you JULZ, the new corollas are definetly wierd lookin!

2 door corolla with same engine = celica???
I think toyota isn't spending enough time further developing the celica. Oh yeh and how hard would it be to swap a 2ZZ-GE into an older model corolla (ie. ae92, ae101, ae111 etc) would custom made mounts be needed??

But then again... I'm of the opinion that if it isn't meant for you to climb through ie. (you don't get into the car via the hatch now do you), then it shouldn't be considered a door as such!!

I was cruising through Bondi last night and spotted an AE92 Two Door Corolla with "WLD20V" Plates... Only one word could explain it and that was "Awesome"... They look mad and I can't wait to see the new ones... I'll be driving them soon every day  ...

uhhh ben - check out that picture VERY CAREFULLY.... notice the corolla pictured? 
i was lead to believe that the 2 door will NEVER land on our humble shores. It will be a 4 door with a 2zz-ge.

In Europe, the 1ZZFE was fitted to the AE112R as standard equipment....

The Corolla Sportivo will only be available in the 4 Door hatch in
Australia. Unfortunatly the 2 Door is
only available in Europe.

dont fret guys, car dealers dont call the shots. last minute decisions are made waaaay up the corporate ladder.
in 96 honda refused to sell type r integgys to australia, now that they are mainstream cars everybody got one. well, not me but i see plenty o dems.
before the s15 hit australian roads i asked nissan if there was going to be turbo charged model and they said no, they'll all be sr20de engines. nowadays you cant even buy a s15 non turbo.
if enuff people want a 2dr carolla it'll come, or toyota will be losing their market to say0...the mazda sp20 and ford sr2. and why only europe? !

they bring out a two door starlet..
but why not a 2 door corolla sports!!!
wots wrong with management
the new engine and the suspension setups is sooo worthy of the 2 doors.. hehehe
i mean.. ricey lancers get 2 doors, same with hyundai accents and excels. I say... bring on the two doors toyota.
