Recently bought a Celica RA40 that I want to rebuild from ground up. It has got an old leaky engine which i am going to replace and also body that needs working.
I have at present started to dismantle stuff under the hood and I know that taking out is not the hardest bit. I have no previous experience with rebuilds or mods and this is my first project.
My first question is this: I want to replace the engine with a 6 Cylinder turbo. Is this possible on a RA40 considering the space i got in there and not wanting to do excess add ons and modifications in the engine bay? If so what engine would fit in there?
Secondly, are there anyone here thats close to Hornsby area thats into rebuilds, done rebuilds and willing to give me a hand or even join in the fun? I am looking for any help, advice etc. I would be appreciative of any help.
