I read an article on here about building a 4A-GTE. does anyone else have any info on this or where on this site it gives more cause i couldn't find anything besides that article
Well since all of you are in australia the first thing is that if I can get a hold of them here in the U.S. I should but I'm not sure what year and model they come from so as to get them from a junk yard. and also do the heads do a clean swap with no mods I should do to them?
I'm gonna be having the engine on a stand for a while since I'm gonna rebuild. Planning on blancing and lightening, porting and polishing, etc. While I just have it sitting there. Cause putting in and taking out motors is a pain in the ass.
I'm also gonna be doin some parts swapping to performance ones. I saw there the guy said 217 HP I want or should I say wish to get this up close to 300 HP. Just to give you an idea of what I want of of this.
Also should I keep my stock tranny from my 92 Celica ST or should I put the FWD 4A-GZE tranny (if I find a GZE). Well all for now if you guys can help thanks.
