On top of my brother's 18RGU cam cover on the drivers side there is a large emission control valve. It has two large diameter tubes coming from it and an electrical wire.

It looks like a Mixture control valve but we aren't sure what to connect the wire to.

If anyone out there has an original 1977 celica GT or any other twin cam car with this valve connected, could you please let me know what the electrical wire connets to.
Our best guess is a vaccuum switch of some type but we don't have one and the local businesses have not been very helpful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as we will need this to get it past SA motor reg. inspection.

Pictures of the electrical device that it connects to would be really great, as would part numbers.

Thanks.
