I tried searching the boards and I honestly think nobody has been as crazy as me.

Time has come and the old 4K-C is starting to blow a little bit of blue smoke, compression and down and its about time for a rebuild.

My initial plans was to put a 4agze into it and do a fair amount of work to it however given I dont have as much money id like to spend on the car, it simply wont be worth it. On top of that, putting such and engine etc into car would push my insurance premiums to have half the market value of the vehicle per year. However, if I kept the original engine in the car and performed modifications to that, my premiums would hardly change.

So, what *exactly* can be done to the 4K-C. Is it even possible to put a small turbo onto it? I really dont know. Im sure alot of you would fall over laughing at the idea. There would be some of you out there that would more intimately know that engine and what its capabilities are (possibly 0).

I hope I can get some serious replies. Changing engine isnt really an option.
