THE WITZL Forums Junkie Toymods Social Secretary Location: Sydney Registered: July 2002	21R-C coil+ignitor for 18r-ge/22R-e electronic igntion - IT WORKS Tue, 17 June 2003 03:05 ok guys, more stupid questions from me Well i have modified an 18R-C dizzy using 22R-E internals to make myself an electronic dizzy. Since i was unable to find a 22R-E coil+ignitor anywhere, i decided to try out a 21R-C coil+ignitor. My questions are regarding the wiring. The old coil (with ext. resistor) had the BLACK/Red wires from the car going to the + of the coil, and the BLACK/Yellow wire from the car going to the resistor and then out of the resistor into the + of the coil. THe solid black wire is pretty obvious... So my question is this. What do i do with the Black/yellow wire? THis is the ignition wire from the car, and the Black/red from the car comes from the starter motor. Here's a pic of the 21R-C coil+ignitor. The Black/Red wire pointed out is connected directly to the + of the coil, and the black wire next to it goes into the ignitor. HOW DO I DO IT?
