On the 07/06 my old TA22 perfect Celica, which i sold to a friend was the victim of a brutal Asshole vandal, who decided he would jump up and down on the roof of the car, until there was nothing left to push in. We have yet to find out who it was, as Canberra is such a small place, i doubt it will be hard. If anyone has heard anything. Please let me know as this person deserves to be punished....

I'm sure that non-Celica owners also wouldn't mind a "chat".
This kind of senseless destruction deserves "behaviour modification"
In which part of town did it happen?

I heard a friend of mine saying something about some dickhead jumping on the roof of a car (I think in Civic) until it was completely sunken in... I doubt these events are one and the same as she gave me the impression it seemed it was his car, but I'll do some asking around...
On a different note, I saw a pretty sweet heater control bracket and wires at Steve's Spares... Was gunna pick it up but wasn't bothered... May or may not be of interest...

Jeremy - you have 3 heater new controls - and a spare dash on the pallet - so hopefully you can get the heater working right - you have everything there needed to do so .
The heater does work very well but nods - they were bent up - and did stick.
I had planned on remounting the stereo elsewhere and fixing them - but you got to the old girl before i could impliment change.
I used to manually adjust the heater from the heater unit itself-easiest to just set and forget ......

PS Soaringmilk - if you need a roof for your mates car - post a note on the wanted bit ..
I know of a ta22 down here that could be a suitable donor parts car - but it would be an issue getting it to where you are ..
its got a good roof on it - and an as new boot
