On the contrary.. I think it's a VERY reasonable amount for a sprinter...
This one would definitely get you an AUS SPEC sprinter in fantastic condition... and some money left over...
It will also get you a lightly modified sprinter with a 100 kwater..
however, sprinter is not the be all and end all..
For that money, it depends on what you want in a car.. Old school, or a new car maybe.
My suggestion would a TA22, or sprinter.. Maybe even a clean series 3 rx7.
rock on.

You'd be hard pressed to find a 'good cond.' MZ20 Soarer. They hold their value well, because there are bugger all of them around (in NSW esp.). If you want a cheapish one, look in QLD or VIC.

I think they make about 88kW by memory. Bit more torquey than the 86kW 4AGE but don't rev as good, run out of breath at about 5G.

its got about 245k on the clock, but the motor is an import put in by the previous owner...about a year before i got it, they are usually imported with something like 50-80k on them plus lets say 15k a year for three years, its probably got a bit over 115k on the motor....
