AE86 Factory Manual - My Last one Mon, 07 July 2003 23:55 Go to next message
http://www.members.optushome.com.au/magneticrose/Manual1.JPG

I currently have in my possession 2 AE86 factory manuals from the US - both similar to the yellow one in the picture above on the left. Both in good condition for its age having come from Brooklyn.

One is a 1984 manual whilst the other is a 1985. I am no longer bringing these manuals in as their prices are becoming ridiculous not to mention they are rare nowadays.

One of these manuals has already been sold to someone who has been keeping in touch with me re these manuals. He hasn't decided which one to take yet but whichever one he doesn't take will be the one for sale now. I should be able to tell you later this week which one is up for grabs - differences between the manuals are minimal and both roughly the same size.

Asking for $150 + $10 postage anywhere in Australia. Am in Brisbane and can be viewed up here unless sold before that.

As I said, this will be the last one I'll be selling and they aren't available over here in Australia. Topics covered include:

(1) Introduction
(2) Maintenance
(3) Engine Mechanical
(4) Emission Control System
(5) EFI system (4AGE)
(6) Fuel system (4AC)
(7) Cooling system
( Cool Lubrication system
(9) Ignition system
(10) Starting system
(11) Charging system
(12) Clutch
(13) Manual transmission
(14) Auto transmission
(15) Propeller shaft
(16) Front axle & suspension
(17) Rear axle & suspension
(18) Brake system
(19) Steering
(20) Body electrical system
(21) Body
(24) Air conditioning
(25) Service specifications
(26) Standard bolt torque specifications
(27) SST and SSM
(28) Auto transmission hydraulic circuit
(29) Electrical wiring diagrams

Cheers!

Okay ... it appears both have now been sold however one is being sent COD. If that falls through, I'll inform ppl once again if it's up however it will be in about a fortnight's time if at all.

Cheers all ...

Sorry about the change of topic..

have you scanned any sections in for all of us to read?? Smile

Im wondering what a switch is on my console .. pretty sure its a factory one. Left of steering wheel, looks the same as the rear wiper one but the white graphic is faded.. doesnt seem to do anything.?
PM me if you know anything, save this thread from being stolen.
Thanks!

Um ... I do have a switch on the left hand side of the steering wheel however on further investigation, I found out it wasn't connected to anything - it just pops out. Looks like it's a space for additional factory options. Confused

My car came with fog lights but they were disconnected. This appears to be the only place to hook up a switch for that matter ...

The left switch is the park light on the JDM AE86s. My Trueno has one.
