oil-light warning on ra28 (3t-gt) Fri, 11 July 2003 03:59 Go to previous message
Hiya, I recently changed my oil and filter and accidentally overfilled the oil level (by about a cm or two) It's an RA28 with a 3t-gt in it with standard computers). I thought I had checked it carefully but there must have been more sneaking around in there than was apparent. I drove around like that for a few days (now it’s back to the normal level) but now when I go hard up a hill in third or fourth gear (not all the time just sometimes when there’s a lot of load on the engine) the ‘oil warning’ light flickers on. Any ideas what’s going on and what I can do about it? Has the pump been over-taxed or is there a problem with the sensor or am I in worse trouble? Cheers, Chris.
