limbi Regular Registered: November 2002	Dodgy defecting Sat, 12 July 2003 13:57 I just got done in on Satudrady night. Listen to this. We were crusing and he pulled all of us over bout 6-10 cars. He comes to me first and checks my car. Makes me do the whole pinksilp routine, ie lights brakes..etc.. Then he looks in the engine bay. 1) Exaust not complying (did not even have the car on while he was checking and no DB meter) 2) Engine induction - not standard(pod filter) 3) Plastic filter fitted to injected motor - not standard (catch can, top rocket cover to throttle body, which is to stop burning oil!) 4) Oil leak (now that shtis me, it's a new conversion and the CV's have spit abit of grease on the heat guard. i took a look and there is no oil leaking at all!) 5) Non Standard Pedals (Mine have rubber bits in between them) Then here's the ultimate. Fine of $102 for oil leaks! - my car has no leaks!!. They put 2 days for me to clear it!!!! The dodgy copper didn't even put down if i need to get a pink or blue slip! He even asked me if i had an engineer's certificate. how do you see an oil leak at 12:40am in the morning???? [Report message to a moderator]
