Tue, 22 July 2003 04:45 To use a fuel pump or not to use a fuel pump, that is the question... 2 standard cold start injectors are being used as the jets (these act as a solenoid too, prevents leakage under hi vac) im guessing with a simple hi pres external fuel pump ill have to run a pres regulator and a return pipe... ? damn... things then get complicated huh... are there fuel pumps with regulated outputs around 40psi? the alternative is a SHURflo diaphragm pressure response water pump that is regulated at 40PSI standard (ie maintains 40psi, and turns itself on and off when system pressure drops). SHURFLO 2080 FRESHWATER PUMPS being regulated at 40PSI seems like a good idea, and they are specifically for water... but theyre more expensive than a simple external fuel pump... any thoughts ?? cheers ed [Updated on: Tue, 22 July 2003 05:08] [Report message to a moderator]
