Interesting fact - the red book values 85' Sprinters at 700-1400 bucks.

A second hand car is worth as much as you are willing to pay for it. If demand exceeds supply then they are obviously going to be worth more.

And what does that have to do with a 1jz? Didn't we cover the cost of the 1jz conversion for you in another thread a few weeks back?

Laughing you'd be very lucky to find one at that price ($700-$1400 Laughing ) if they were as common as AE82 then i have nothing to say Razz , but i heard that only about 4000 sprinters made it to australia and half has probably been writing off, becomming a rare car and definately a cult car.

Hey,
Blsupra - I'm not asking anyone to cover anything for me, perhaps someone this time around may have something for sale.

Yeh regarding the sprinters, i don't think the red book is taking into account Initial D. The demand is definently huge, i'm not saying they should b worth less, i'm just saying that you'll be able to pay very little motor vehicle duties if you're registering an imported one Smile

Dan.

only problems is that you'll have to pay a ver HEFTY premium to
import one...

Outbiding the local japanese market for a cult car (more so from their perspective) aint a cheap thing to do Smile.

hooorah hooorah for the good ol sprintaaah

rock on. Smile
