What driving music?

What are your favourite bands to drive to?
I'd have to go with: The Prodigy, Front Line Assembly, Assemblage 23, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Uberzone, Hocico, Massive Attack...it all depends on the mood but usually harder beat driven industrial stuff is my fav stuff to drive to, unfourtunatly it also makes my right foot heavier...

I always used to love listening to Beastie Boys on the way home from work, that is until my cd player decided to stop playing it then got stolen.
Going to get new sound system put in my new car, which will be cranking to the tunes of Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, Placebo, Moby, Chemical Brothers, Smashing Pumpkins and some MoS compilations

hmmmm hard choice ppl.
I'd have to say Metallica is great for just cruising around...
But for the long drives it has to be some high energy dance
(Just to keep me awake)
BUT... since the cockroach doesn't have a cd player i have to stick to the radio now

pft, your exhaust isn't loud enough if you cant hear it over the music
I love prog metal, industrial and the like most of the time, but some of the softer stuff goes down well when stuck in traffic. helps keep me sane
and never, ever rap. ever.

"mr bungle goes down well to freak people out"
hehe 'girls of porn' cranked up would be funny
"fear factory's obsolete is mad if your stereo can handle it"
Definately, re-manufacture and de-manufacture are also excellent
"Rap and hip hop all the way"
Eminem is pretty good driving music
Lots of alternative music listeners here

Anything and everything. A lot of the time there is Rap and RnB sitting in my car when I want to drown out my engine noise on the long drive to uni. If I'm on a "mission" its usually some faster dance music.
If it was the XX I'd probably be happy listening to the engine...but the 21R-C sounds like shit!

It's all about Trance for fast driving cause the faster the beat, the closer your foot goes to the floor... ...
And Rap and R&B is also a nice choice, EMIN3M is sweet for cruising as the big bass from subs always attracts wanted attention on George St ...

i enjoyed " the symphony of webers " for 18 lovely months - music sucks - webers SING!
now - the sounds of turbo's spooling fills the void - though the new gorst should make a nice nullifying drone *craCK* IF ITS DONE HOW I WANT IT DONE
tunes wise - i listen to anythign that sounds good - though i used to find greenday made the foot heavy ..

nah i didnt go. i saw skulker a few years back at grounded and was pretty impressed cause what i heard on the radio didnt sound too good but live they were alot better. i really like their new song, well actually the one before that cant think of the name.
speaking of good live bands, TESEAGLES were awesome even tho on cd they sound a bit flat but live... one of the best live bands imo.

fuck yeah, zelda owns. i pump the zelda soundtrack in the car every now and again.
but for me, i like extremes. classical cd is good, and so is slayer, pantera, superjoint ritual, strapping young lad, meshuggah, metallica....
but then, silverchair, radiohead, powderfinger, zepplin, down and floyd and music soundtracks go down well too.
songs though, pantera's walk is awesome, down's learn from this mistake and superjoint's drug your love.
some good music listeners here though.
bungle is good to freak people, almost as good as fantomas

I've suddenly developed a thing for evanescence - bring me back to life. chick singers mixed with anything remotely heavy always do it for me.
