Yesterday at Palmyra Dragway up here in Mackay ( QLD )a meeting was held to sort out the boys from the girls , A few tropheys were up for grabs One each for the quickest 4CYL , 6CYL and V8. All had to race in street trim no slicks , There were about 40 entries in all. I did not get to drive as was a bit crook so my son Robbie took the TA down the strip for me , Well he got the trophy for quickest 4CYL running a 12.386 @ 120.28 MPH and if there was a trophy for the quickest overall he would have taken that to , as the closest compeditor was the winner of the V8 class in a 383 stroker Torana running about 12.8's . Anyway "TOYOTA TAKES OUT THE DAY " !!!!
