2TGEU - 88262 Head (No numbers on the head casting) Tue, 12 August 2003 11:34 Go to next message
Ok Curiosity has gotten the better of me and I would like to have a much closer look at the High emissions low compression 2TGEU head. Its the one with NO casting numbers on it. The cams will have the last part of the part number as - 88262. The combustion chambers are also offset

If anyone has one for sale please let me know.

Thanks.

Yeh, i'll be very interested in what outcomes you get from your tests. Hmmm, what tests are you going to perform on it? If you want to consult with me about mine, that's fine.

I've read that these low compression motors come out with higher duration cams to compensate for the low comp motor.

Frank,

Do you have an 88262 head ? Is it complete, running, for sale etc etc etc ? Just trying to gather any info on them Smile

As for the test I just want the basic stats, Combustion chamber size, head flow cam specs and valve size Smile

I know they are very limited in their potential due to the offset combustion chamber design but I am curious to the point I need to know.
