Spark plug question Fri, 22 August 2003 09:17 Go to previous message
Hey all

Went to see if the corona had the right plugs in there and no it doesnt.....

it needs BPR5EY-11 plugs i think
and its got BP5EY in there

besides the wrong gap .... the "R" stands for resistor

seeing as though the ones in there dont have them im just wondering if this does any damage to anything in the ignition system by any chance ?

from my limited knowledge of electronics a resistor slows down current flow.....so if theres no resistor when there should be it could be burning things out in the ignition system ?

or do i have it all wrong ?

Thanx
Mani
