Is this a good price for an 18RGU?

18RGU twin cam twin 45mm webbers (just reconditioned), extractors, 2.5 inch exhaust reconditioned head ported and polished, complete running gear, thermo fan to tailshaft. They're asking $2400 for the lot, is this too much? What would be an ok price for all this? Keep in mind this is in Adelaide, so things are a bit more expensive here, as there isn't so much about. Also, would this engine be very streetable, or would it be idling at 1500RPM, and guzzling fuel like a V8?
