Just bought a 1984 YN57 hilux 4X2 for my son. The body is good but drive train is shot (3Y with auto) Just a slow worn out pig. What is a good motor conversion with 5 speed?, have considered an 18rgu as I have one sitting around. It was going to go in my ra28 I am restoring. Is this the best option or is there something better that will fit with out too many mods? Any clues?
