We have at work a '95 (im pretty sure) Hilux that has a blown motor and is in pretty crap condition. I have proposed to the boss that we turn it into a promotional vehicle to race at street meets and so forth. How would you spend $10K on it to make it as quick as possible down the quarter mile ?(whilst still being street registerable) I realise its not huge budget but it doesnt need to be a full on race car just one that does some decent numbers. I guess the biggest part is what engine do u think ?? Im thinking 13B turbo but wouldnt mind sussing out some Toyota options .. cheers [Report message to a moderator]
