Ok ladies and gents,
It has finally come to pass, i have decided to pull up tent and sell my '83 Celica to move forwards (well actually backwards as it may seem).
Here are the details
1983 Celica XT Liftback
2.0 2SC engine (no mods) very clean and reliable
230,000km but still going strong
---Work done---
Recently passed WA pits... only picked up on very minor details eg blown number plate lights (WTF???? anyway....) and torn rack boots
Everything that i was picked up on (including plate lights) replaced and repaired
and
New front tyres 98%
Recon Carby
New front Windscreen
New bits and peices eg Distributor cap, Fuel Pump
---Extras---
Tinting, very nice metallic looking
Remote Alarm/Immob
Receipts to all work & extras done
---Other Stuff---
I'd say the cars best point is how straight it is, the interior is immaculate and the panels are near perfect, the paint it also very very good for its age. The only damage is a scrape and dent on the front driver quarter (f**kin letterbox). The only rust on it is slight surface rust around the lettering on the back and some on the wheel arches. I have never personally seen another original celica in this condition.
Seriously guys this was/is my first car and it has treated me as well as i can expect for being born in the same year as myself

There has to be someone out there passionate about this style of celica guys.
Cmon doesn't it sort of remind you of the car that was in the 'Back to the Future's 
I have a workmate that swears it does.
I can only remotely see the resemblance.
Anyway just thought i might add that i'm putting it in various paper advertising this week eg Sunday Times, Quokka, Autotrader on Monday, so if you want it come get it.

hmmmmmm this may take longer to sell then expected.
open to offers of a reasonable stature.

Looks nice,
If I needed a daily driver (which I kinda do but can't afford) while the Supra's off the road, I'd be interested.
So, whatcha planning to trade up to? Supra?

hehehe nah i'm not 100% positive yet...
hopefully a Mark I celica, TA22 or RA23 but more then likely something butt cheap until I finish my degree.
which means maybe a scooter, a nice retro one that will impress the ladies

My brothers SA63 has nearly done 450000Kms (Rebuilt Engine) and is going strong though the head is about had it...
